I created this book with my 9 year old daughter, Emma…..who, after 3 weeks of practice, just couldn’t seem to remember her times tables.
Mostly, because she was bored to tears with the rote memory drills, we all did in school(you know the ones)
I was desperate for a solution!
AND THEN One day, while trying to help her memorize them, my good ol’ Bio-Psych degree, finally, kicked in and I remembered that the more details you tie to a memory, the deeper the processing, and the greater the ability to, spontaneously, recall the memory.
What happened next was pretty incredible…
